Hello, I have a few of the smaller bark vases and they are all 6 3/4 inches tall however I have just purchased another which is a little smaller at 6 1/2 inches tall. This intrigued me but looking at the catalogues neither exact size seems to be listed. Am I looking in the wrong place and were the sizes never exact - all have exactly the same diameter. Thanks in advance for any help.

He Baz. The bark vases were blown into a hinged mould which was released by opening the mould. Being mould blown would mean that the diameter is always the same. The tops however were fire polished which means that the heights will not be as precise as a cold finished rim. Some variance should be expected.

Thanks Marc, so would it be correct to describe any vase with that diameter as 6" irrespective of the height?

As long as it's a Whitefriars bark vase it's a reasonable assumption.
