I'm new to collecting Whitefriars glass and I particularly like the controlled bubble designs. I bought this vase in an antique shop at the weekend; it was labelled as Whitefriars. Having looked through the catalogues, I cannot see this controlled bubble vase design with a flared rim so I'm assuming it's not Whitefriars. Does that mean they didn't make any bubble vases with flared rims? I'm not sure if you can make out the pontil on the base. I don't think it's as heavy as some other vases I've seen which have been labelled as Whitefriars, but it does have evidence of age/wear on the base. Does anyone recognise this vase or know who the maker might have been? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Attachments:

You are right in that Whitefriars did not produce a flared top version. This is likely to be by Webb
