Hallo all. I apologise for repeating this thread, but I messed up on my first attempt owing to my ignorance when attaching images. These vases are 7" tall and 3" in diameter at the base: the pontil has been smoothed. I had suspected/hoped these may be by James Powell/Whitefriars, but I have been unable to confirm. The light green is very reminiscent of Whitefriars colours used in the 40's and the ribbed conical shape is not unlike models 823 and 9077 in the 1938 catalogue, though I suspect I may be simply 'clutching at straws'! Does anyone recognise these as Whitefriars or maybe point me in the direction of another maker? Thank you for your help. Jack.

Hi Jack. They are very interesting pieces. Do you mind if I grab an image and ask around?

Ok, Jack. I've asked the folk I trust with early 20th century pieces and the unanimous answer is Stuart. Hope this helps

Many thanks Marc. Keeping in mind I'm relatively new to this, can you elaborate a little on what you mean by'Stuart'? Thank you.

Hi Marc...just did a little digging and I now understand you mean Stuart Crystal, which I presume is the name of the company. Looking at some examples, I can see why your associates identified it as Stuart. Many thanks for your help. Regards Jack.
